Intentional Songs
October 11-12, 2025, online
A two-day online gathering
to explore, share, and celebrate intentional songs
from different corners of the planet,
sung in various languages
Our Invitation
This forum is our invitation to sound together in one space. We invite carriers of these songs and all those for whom this work is meaningful and important to stand in a common circle and share the deep wisdom of their cultures through medicine songs, ritual, and ceremonial music. We gather so that life may continue, so that the fire in our hearts and at the center of our circles continues to burn.

"So that life may continue. So that the fire in our hearts and in the center of circles continues to burn."
We are part of life and its evolution. We find ourselves at a moment of civilizational transition whose outcome—toward the continuation of life—is not guaranteed. Many of us have grown distant from nature and lost touch with the roots of our cultures. We often seek meaning in isolation and struggle to find the deeper connections that nourish the soul.

For life to continue, we will need the wisdom of our ancestors. We will need to find our communities for collective action, reconnect within the circle of life, and rediscover the fire in our hearts at the center of this circle.

The process of singing together is what reconnects the fragmented parts of our world. This is one of humanity's most ancient circle practices.

What are Intentional Songs?

"Intentional songs" is how we choose to describe songs that serve a specific purpose or are sung with particular intent. In some cultures, these are called medicine songs; in others, they are known as ritual or ceremonial songs. What unites them is that they are sung to attune the relationships between a person or community and the surrounding forces of nature, or to harmonize relationships between people within the community.

These songs serve as transports to altered states of consciousness, creating sacred space where healing, transformation, and deep connection become possible. In ceremony, they become bridges between the ordinary world and the realm of spirit, guiding participants into experiences of unity and profound understanding.

Forum Program

We strive to organize for global participation, but recognize this might be impossible for some regions. For registered participants who cannot attend live, we will send recordings of all sessions.

Day 1 - October 11, 2025

Day 2 - October 12, 2025

Who do we call

We aim to gather at least 30 speakers and singers from different regions of our planet, representing diverse traditions: Celtic, Southern, Central, and Northern Europe; North, Central, and South America; Africa; Central and Siberian Russia; Australia; the Balkans. This is where our knowledge and contacts allow us to reach. We also invite any other tradition and culture that wishes to participate and share their wisdom.

  • Song Carriers
Medicine song keepers, traditional singers, ceremony holders from all cultures
  • Healing Practitioners
Sound healers, therapists working with voice and music in healing practices
  • Spiritual Seekers
Those exploring ancestral wisdom and community healing through traditional practices
  • Cultural Bridge-Builders
People working to connect traditions across cultures and build understanding
  • Community Leaders
Those seeking tools for collective healing and connection in their communities
  • Wisdom Keepers
Elders and teachers holding traditional knowledge and seeking to pass it forward

Who we are

  • Our mission is to ensure the continuation and sustainable flourishing of life for the long-term future. To serve this mission, we cultivate an ecosystem of projects in three interconnected areas:
    1. Choosing, preserving, and developing "ancient future wisdom"—deep wisdom and practices from the past that remain essential for life's continuation and flourishing.
    2. Expanding our vision of possible futures—beyond the continuation of the present.
    3. Catalyzing choices in the present—at the levels of individuals, communities, organizations, and the planet—toward futures where life continues and thrives.
Through traditional knowledge and ceremonies, we have learned that one of the most direct ways to access altered states of consciousness is through intentional songs. We choose this transport to reach states from which we can envision and work toward better personal and collective futures. This is why, as one of our Foundation's first initiatives, we are hosting this forum dedicated to the power of intentional songs.
