Future Foundation is an ecosystem of projects united by the goal of continuation and sustainable flourishing of life in the long-term future.

The future of life is not guaranteed. It never was, but we now have unprecedented insight into the risks facing the entire living system, including not only humans but all living beings on our planet. We are witnessing systemic, interconnected polycrisis that affect social, ecological, psychological and spiritual levels.

Addressing these challenges requires both rigorous analysis backed by institutional sciences and deep wisdom that transcends purely rational approach.

Our contribution is developing an ecosystem of projects in three interconnected areas:

PAST — We study and cultivate ancient wisdom, including traditional psychotechnologies and sacred practices, that has supported human flourishing across diverse cultures and time periods.

FUTURE — We expand our vision of possible futures and the evolution of life. We imagine and prototype regenerative futures, equitable futures, living futures — possibilities worth working toward.

PRESENT — We connect and empower changemakers working at the frontiers of social, spiritual, environmental, and organizational evolution.

We are connected with our ancestors — from the past come energy and resources. We make choices in the present, deciding toward which version of the future we direct our intentions.

From the future come meanings and dreams. There are many possible futures,and those toward which we direct our energy begin to support us in the present.

Life flows from past to future and seeks to continue through us. We help sustain this flow.
